Hotel Registration & Activities Information
Alpha Eta Sigma Chapter (Montgomery, AL)/ Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. will host the 2011 Southern Regional Conference, April 14 – 17, 2011 in Montgomery, AL
Host Hotel: The Embassy Suites Hotel/300 Tallapoosa Street / Montgomery, AL 36104 Room Rates: $114 Single/Double Occupancy (Max: 4/room)

Our group code – PBS. This code MUST be used to receive conference room rates when booking at 1-800-Embassy (362-2770) or online at www.embassysuites.com or by calling the hotel directly at 334-269-5055, EXT 1092. NOTE: Other promotions (AAA, AARP, military/government, etc.) do not apply.
All hotel rooms are equipped with 2 room suites, 1 king size or 2 double beds a separate living room with sofa bed, armchair, dining and work table. Other amenities include wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron with board, hair dryer, 2 telephones with voice mail, high-speed internet access and 2 televisions with in-suite movies. Other services include – complimentary shuttle service to and from the Montgomery Regional Airport and downtown area within a 5 mile radius.
We invite you to come early, work hard & enjoy the planned conference activities at the host & overflow hotels in the newly renovated downtown Montgomery Riverfront Region.
Conference activities are as follows:
Sigma Beta Club (SBC) Activities: Same as members, inclusive of campus tours of Alabama State University (ASU), Tuskegee University (TU), Auburn Montgomery (AUM), Auburn University (AU), a Downtown Trolley Ride, excursion to TU Airman/Carver museums, movie/bowling night and a Biscuits baseball game &/or show at the Shakespeare Theatre. SBC Activities are with their chaperones.
Wife/Guest Activities: Downtown Montgomery Trolley Ride, excursion to the Tuskegee University Airman and Carver museums, Tour of the Tuskegee Campus, wine tasting & luncheon event, horse-drawn evening carriage ride along the river region, play at the Shakespeare Theater & East Chase Mall shopping outing.
Member Activities: Board meeting, Director’s Reception, Breakfast (complimentary), Lunch (Friday), Director’s Dinner, Manager’s Reception (complimentary), Breakfast for Outstanding Sigma’s of the Southern Region (OSSR), Collegiate Luncheon, Blue & White Dinner/Ball, Pageant, Step show, Sigma Museum & Vendors.
